Nose: Smoky sweet cured bacon, fresh forest floors after rain – sweet undertones of white grape & gooseberries. Damp bales of straw and stacked spring grass. Candied lemon peel, tart juice and citrusy
Palate: A burst of barley-sugar sweetness leads to dark and smoky coal dust, burnt citrus peel, damp wool and medicinal hints – tcp and bandages. Dunnage hints of bung cloth and earth turn into fruity dark chocolate before fruit flavours appear – sharp apple.
Finish: Pine needles, green ferns and menthol, fading through cinnamon spice to leave fruit gums and apple peel.
