The nose has a nice smoky, peated aroma which envelopes the vanilla, anise and spices that come from the original bourbon cask. There is almost a smoked bacon edge to this dram. On the palate the smoked
bacon is very prominent along with the anise and spices. This dram really gives a meaty feel with, warm smoky, peaty oak and sweetness. Moderate tannins on the cheeks and a little spicy on the tongue. The smoke
and peat from the cask finish as well as the sweetness and spices are long lingering!
