On the nose rich prunes, raisins and candied orange peel and light treacle balanced with warming oak and allspice. As with the nose the fruits and peel are very prominent on the palate, almost with very overripe
banana. The treacle, spice and oak come through more on the exhale. Cheeks are dried by mild tannins not a spicy dram. A finish with oak , spice, prune and treacle.
